Sitka Alaska Bound

I am on my way to Sitka, Alaska.  I’ll be there for 2 weeks teaching the children of Sitka (Grades 2-5) how to dance the contras, squares and play party games I love so much.  I’ve been to a lot of far-flung locations in my work as a writer, but never to Alaska.  I’m nervous and excited and ready for FUN.
I’ll be in the classroom from 8:00 to 2:30 every day which would leave lots of time for sightseeing except for the SCRIPT I’m writing that’s due April 26!  But I don’t mind — work is good and nothing gives me energy the way dancing does.  It will be an interesting couple of weeks in the stamina department for sure … and it all comes to a wonderful crescendo on the 25th when I’m calling a BIG DANCE HERE

Life is good.  Everybody skip!
